Kiran Sangha is a strategic, inclusive, and emotionally intelligent leader with nearly two decades in optics. Beginning her career in 2006, she has grown from optical assistant to optometrist, now combining clinical practice with governance, consultancy, and community‑rooted entrepreneurship.

A former Optometry Scotland board executive and Chair of the Eyecare Professions Forum, Kiran brings governance credibility and representation experience to every role. She is also an AOP Peer Support Line volunteer, offering active listening and empathetic communication.
Her work spans mentoring women in leadership, shaping sector strategy, and supporting governance discussions, while championing inclusive practice for neurodiverse patients. She has contributed to international inclusion initiatives, including accessible shopping hour programmes and global women’s leadership forums, alongside curating values‑led businesses and narratives that blend clarity, accessibility, and resilience.

I’m a multi‑hyphenate leader who blends clinical practice with governance and strategic communication. With nearly two decades in optics since 2006, I help organisations turn sector policy, standards, and governance frameworks into practical, reputationally safe actions for boards, clinicians, and advocacy networks.
My work is grounded in emotional intelligence, accessibility, and inclusive storytelling—whether I’m advising on sector governance, mentoring emerging leaders, or curating sensory experiences in my award‑winning restaurant.
