I’m an Optometrist and communication coach with a passion for helping eye care professionals elevate their consultation skills — for more meaningful patient connections that leads to better relationships, job satisfaction and business outcomes.

After years in clinical practice, a lot of those as an Optometrist store manager, I noticed that Optometrists are highly trained in clinical excellence, yet most of us were never formally taught how to communicate in a way that truly lands with patients. I saw brilliant clinicians struggle to get their recommendations accepted — not because of their skill, but because of how their message was being received.

That realisation led me to create Consult with Impact — a structured program designed to help Optometrists build clarity, confidence, and influence in their patient conversations. The course blends communication psychology, behavioural science, and practical optometry know-how to create an experience that transforms both the patient journey and the practitioner’s confidence.

My work now focuses on bridging the gap between clinical expertise and communication. I can deliver workshops, mentoring sessions, and resources for Optometrists and practice teams who want to consult with greater impact — combining empathy, clarity, and commercial awareness.
